4 out of 5 stars Perfect for Mise en Place
Joseph Langley

Along with the other available sizes, these ramekins are perfect for holding measured ingredients while I prepare to cook. They clean up from dry duty easily in the sink and wet, sticky ingredients come off without a hitch in the dish washer. The bottom of these dishes is unglazed, so if you set them in water you'll want to let them dry before changing their temperature. Otherwise, you can do almost anything with them.Other sizesHIC Porcelain 2-Ounce Ramekin, Set of SixHIC Porcelain 6-Ounce Souffle Dish, Set of Six

3 out of 5 stars Perfect size, but a tad fragile
Scout Leader

Overall I really like these little ramekins and use them often. They are fragile, though. The bottom edge could have been a little heavier or perhaps slightly rounded to prevent inadvertent chipping, which seems too happen despite carefull handling.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for family favorite dessert
Kawigirl

I needed more ramekins because word spread that I served the "best dessert EVER" and our growing family kept requesting it. These ramekins were sturdy, pretty, and a great value. The secret on the desert is that it is the simplest desert ever. Here's the recipe: Put a "ball" of chocolate chip cookie dough (I usually just keep the refrigerated dough from Costco on hand) in the bottom of each ramekin (you don't even need to grease them); when guests sit down to dinner, stick the ramekins in the preheated oven (temp and time is based on the dough you use); when done, take out, wait 1 minute and then top with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve. It's so easy and always a hit.
