I have used these 12 oz Anchor Hocking casseroles for several years and had thought they were no longer to be found. I use them for oatmeal, baked apples, veggies, about everything that I serve in an individual portion that can be cooked in the microwave. Unlike the plastic lids that are now so common the glass lids hold in the heat without deforming, so I have faster cooking times and a longer useful life for the dish.Especially as - uh - 'older' people we are concerned with portion size but have become accustomed to good stuff. These tiny cooking dishes help make preparation of and serving small portions fun, fast, and attractive.
