Corningware 2.5 qt bowl w/lid

I was very disappointed with the corningware bowl. It weighs a lot less than my other 2.5 quart corning ware bowl which I have had several years. The biggest dislike was the lid. It is made of cut glass with a plastic knob. The edge of the lid is chipped in several places. You would have thought they would have put some kind of a ring around the lid...but they didn't. JJF
