the perfect pot/caserole

i recently purchased a complete set of circulon "Infinite" pots and pans replacing a circulon set i had used for 10 years. The old set had included a 4 1/2 quart casserole pan; circulon no longer makes these. i ended up missing this pan so i decided to purchase the chocolate 5 1/2 quart covered caserole to complete my set. This has ended up being my favorite pot and it is also a beautiful caserole for serving. The color is rich and luminous chocolate and not captured in the photo. It is light-weight, can go in the oven and dishwasher and you can use metal utensils without damaging the surface. Nothing sticks to this surface and the handles and lid have comfortable cool handles. Overall, I very much prefer circulon "symmetry" to the circulon "Infinite"

i bought this item separately from my 13-piece Hard-anodized Cookware Set Chocolate Stainless Steel Base (unfortunately, it wasn't included in the set). The cookware set in itself is amazing and I have to also say that this separate piece was equally amazing. I'm so satisfied that I made this separate purchase. It is an easy cleanup and such great quality. I really have no complaints.

It is a nice piece of cookware but I do have a complaint. The tempered glass lid may appear attractive but is a bad joke. While all the literature says you'll be able to observe the contents, in reality your vision will be obscured by the condensation on the lid. Otherwise, it does the job and is relatively easy to clean.
