I lost the wife's older Pyrex cake pan with cover, at a picnic.Wishing to make amends ASAP, I went to Amazon and foundthis low priced item. Looking over other kitchen sites, this was thelower priced.It arrived promptly & in one piece.Looked just like the one I'd lost, except for the brand name.She still cooks goodies in it and uses the well sealed top for pot lucksand such.And I'm out of the dog house......

I bought this pan from my local store. It is a well made piece, however, even though it says that the dish and lid are microwaveable, the lid shrank after I used it in the microwave. I guess it is safe, since it didn't break or melt. I wouldn't recommend using the lid inside of the microwave, but I would still recommend the dish for purchase.

I purchased this dish for several reasons, the biggest being that it came with a lid & I would no longer have to use Saran Wrap in order to keep what I cooked fresh. I was skeptical on whether it could cook a cake as good as it could cook a casserole and the answer is yes on both counts. Not to mention, no harsh chemicals soaking into your food since it's made out of glass!
