Description
This classic baking dish from Le Creuset is both durable and beautiful. Made from stoneware fired above 2100 degrees F for the ultimate in strength, then coated with hard enamel, the dish is superb at resisting scratching, chipping, staining, odor absorption, and cracking. The stoneware goes from refrigerator or freezer to microwave or oven to serving at the table with the aid of two sure-grip carry handles, and can even be used under the broiler. Just avoid stovetop use. Measuring just 7 by 5 inches, this cute dish makes a great size for baking a vegetable medley or rich chocolate dessert for two. The exterior comes in a choice of several bright, modern colors, while the interior stays neutral in tone. Rounded corners and the smooth enamel coating mean food particles tend not to stick, making cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher a snap. Enjoy choosing coordinating colors for your Le Creuset baking pans, pie dishes, French ovens, and more, and relax knowing each is covered by a lifetime warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri
