THE COVER DOES NOT ATTACH TO THE BASE PROPERLY....NOT AS GOOD AS OTHERS THATI HAVE HAD..

I like the fact that I can use this in the oven or microwave, because microwave food sometimes is not so appealing. However these are not so good for freezing. The lids don't fit so securely, no matter how many times I put them on, and my food gets freezer burn constantly. But for reheating there very nice.

Not sure I've ever been more disappointed with a product. I've been eating my lunch off a plate like this every day at work for quite some time now. I bought this one because I broke the cover on the one I used for about 5 years without problem, and it wasn't easy to break it, my fault entirely. So, I got this one. The first thing I noticed...the cover barely fits, I had to use a rubber band to ensure it stays on as I drive to work. The tab at the end where the "loosen before heating" was cracked about a third of the way across. Worse yet, after only three weeks, I was drying the plate with a paper towel and as I ran the towel along the edge of the big section, where it curves upward, the material split down the edge, at the bottom of the curve. Unbelievable, I was towel drying, which doesn't require a lot of pressure, and the material was so cheap it split about 2 inches down the edge. At this point, I had a bit of fun snapping little pieces off here and there using almost no force at all. Save your money, three weeks! My old one...five years. The only consolation...The lid fits my old one as well as the piece of junk I just bought, so I'm back in business, with a 5 year old plate, heading for 6.
